Project Glasswing and Gated Frontier Access

Mythos 5, the ungated version of the Mythos-class model, is not sold. It is admitted to, through Project Glasswing, a US-government-linked program that provides frontier capability to vetted cyber defenders, critical-infrastructure operators, and biology researchers.
This is a meaningful shift in how frontier capability reaches the world. The unrestricted model is not gated by price or by an API key anyone can buy; it is gated by institutional vetting and a trust relationship with the state. Access becomes a credential, not a purchase.
For defenders this is double-edged. Concentrating the ungated capability in vetted hands raises the bar for casual misuse and creates an accountable chain of custody. It also concentrates enormous advantage in a small, government-adjacent set of organizations, and makes the vetting process itself a high-value target. Whoever can forge or subvert Glasswing trust inherits the ungated model. Provenance, again, is the whole game.
