Living Assisted or Independent

My last tour up North was very exciting, or should I say, it was very surprising, in the sense that I noticed some startling facts about the elderly people living around us. First thing, most of them are very independent and very few of them are assisted. But this number is growing every day; Elderly need assistance but if that number of them who require assistance increases, then that is something we should be pondering about.

Assisted Living housing option offers retirement communities with varying care levels, so the elderly never will have anything to worry about. There is the comfort of meals, three times and help as and when required.

Independent Living is for those who love to be independent and on their own during the precious days of their lives. But, rest assured, there will be help readily available when they need it the most.

So, that was about what I learned about living assisted or living dependent for the elderly, during my last tour. Every tour is a learning by itself.
