Water treatment helps

On my last vacation, I had a quick visit to my friend's home where she was boasting how beautiful her house was maintained and how much work she does everyday to keep her surroundings clean. All the while I was listening to her casually and when the time came when she had to speak about water, I started to listen with my ears fully open. She had lots to explain about her ground water levels and the problems she faced when she stepped into the newly constructed house very recently. The main problem of the ground water was to treat it before using it. One single problem that she herself could not solve was the acidity of the water. It had more acid content in it than normal ground water would usually have. Then she explained what ph is all about and a low ph level would mean acidity on the material - in her case it is plain water containing more acid than necessary!. So she had to make the water undergo low ph water treatment so that it has a balanced ph and the acid content is lessened and hence, the water is pretty usable for all usual activities. So much learning on my short visit to my friend's place on a long vacation.
